Is having the sweep painful ?

Not really just really uncomfortable xx

@gabilicious, I see my midwife two days before my due date, if I request a sweep that day will she do it ? this is my second baby xx

They wouldn't give you a sweep with your second unless you're over due especially if you went into labour naturally last time but that's just my area, there's no harm in asking she might be nice and do it for you xx

I had one at hospital, I told the midwife to “go for it” and she did..,it was painful to be honest. It started off uncomfortable, but it depends how much you can tolerate as to how well they can do it if that makes sense x

It’s not pain as such. But ya definitely something I wouldn’t want to do for the fun of it x

Very uncomfortable but it over with in no time xx

it is a little painful like a smear test, but over quite quickly. Just squeeze someone's hand 😄
