Please help... I’m a pediatric nurse and due to on going issues I have been having with my current place of employment I was job hunting before I got pregnant and I was just called today for an interview with phenomenal practice on Monday. Should I disclose that I’m pregnant? I mean I’m hardly showing but I would feel bad not to say something and take a maternity leave. Please help.

@beebaby, as soon as I can I guess. What’s the normal? Believe me I wish I could even be a part time to spend time with my first baby but I just can’t afford it.

@shaneen32, I would work all the way up until I have my baby probably. I’m not really sure to be honest. First time mom here. @beebaby, yea I’m probably going to say something. That way if they don’t chose to hire me now and have an opening later they will respect that I was open up front. Plus I have been getting bigger by the day lately so I doubt I’ll be able to hide it for long. Although scrubs are pretty forgiving ha.

If you are hardly showing I would just wait it out till I got more familiar with the place.

It’s something that you will have to tell eventually. If you wait then they might be mad at you for not telling them when you were first hired on.
