I got help in the hospital basically the whole nipple will be in and no pain involved you can clasp your nipple in between two fingers like scissors and lead it in to help her

I loved it : bonding it’s an amazing feeling you can’t describe only feel, the rapid weight loss , helps you heal super fast if you have c section, shrinks your uterus faster. Just my observations and experience it’s hard work and it shouldn’t ever hurt just make sure baby latches correctly then I added a nipple cream after and I was good to go
