Applied for insurance for Jayden and I almost 2 months ago never heard anything back so I called…

What the hell first off why isn’t he under your insurance since birth or why didn’t he get it instantly 🤔 I hate this world

@skysmommy04, I was under my moms and I needed her to add him and she's a piece of shit and never did after I asked her since I was 7 months pregnant and than my insurance got terminated as well .. so I gave up on her and just decided to apply for myself and him

Thats jersey for ya... Deffinetly get your own insurance, it doesnt take that long and put your baby on it as well. Just make sure you have all your guys info w you when you go to apply

@skysmommy04, well last time I went I just had to pay $20 for his vaccines 🙌🏼🙌🏼 thank god .. and his next appointment is November

and most likely I'll have to pay again but I have no choice

@tiffanyf you should really just go there. Its a pain in the ass, but totally worth it! I got my food stamps within 3 days & insurance shortly after

@tiffanyf if he has to go see a doc or to the ER and they happen to bill you, once his case is active they will cover the medical costs during that time you waited.

Are you able to take him to the doctor and then get reimbursed when the plan finally starts? Or do they not count from the application date, only from the day it's approved?

If you need to take him to the er. They will "bill" you but then just don't pay it. I had to do it a couple times with my son back in the day when our insurance lapsed. I few of my friends in finance also said medical stuff in no way can mess with your credit score so 🖕🏼em. I would get someone on the phone too. They take too long with all that mail nonsense. Hope it works out love.
