The only reason I waited a week after is because I don't always get my period every four weeks sometimes it's 5 weeks... Maybe more or less.

My period was never consistent but you want to take the pregnancy test after you think you missed your period. So I'd estimate when I think it was and wait an extra week so I know 100% I missed it. I took 3 $1 tests the first time all pregnant and took 1 the second time and it showed I was pregnant.

You don't need to spend $10+ on a test the $1 work great! I was wondering the same thing and bought three the first time and they were all positive.

I always use the dollar ones they work just as good for me. I just buy like 5 to make sure. Lol but I'm a paranoid person.
