Did you all celebrate your babies first birthdays on the actual day or a different day? Alex's is on a Friday and really want to have his little party on the actual day but would probably only be able to be from around 5-7 with everyone working and then any later Alex will be too tired but not sure if that's long enough. Should I just have it on the Saturday in the afternoon and just have a chill day for his birthday on the Friday?

@stephyb95, good idea, he's only young so he'll get tired quickly I think we took Isabella swimming and she was done for the day 😂xx
Thank you @barnold @isabellaboo think I'm gonna wait till the Saturday for his wee party and just go to the softplay on his actual birthday and have a wee cake and if family wanna see him the actual day then they can pop over xx
We just done a little meal for us all and Isabella opened a few presents on her actual birthday then we waited till the weekend so we could relax more and everyone could come 😊 you don't want to feel stressed and rushed and for little man to be tired and ratty, @stephyb95,
@stephyb95 ethans was a tuesday so me him and his dad went out for the day and then on the saturday we had a little party for family and friends x
Nothing wrong with celebrating it on the Saturday then maybe oncthe Friday so something fun with him. Soft play, play date or trip somewhere. That's usually what we do. Spreads out the fun that way 😊
