@zaushka_me exactly ! It's some dum thing I always hear Dominican old ppl saying. Like I don't get it :/ it's annoying cus they making it look like I'm doing something bad for my kid.

@anqelyg, do what you want to do. There are some old wives tales out there, but you don't have to listen to them. I've never heard of that and would go with what your pedi says.

Babies are more "durable" than they are fragile, yes you have to be cautious but honestly, 4 months is fine for your baby to sit.

My daughter practiced sitting at 4 months and was sitting on her own by 5 months... do what you feel is best. You are the mother after all! :)
