When i got it, nothing happened besides bleeding until the 2nd shot. Then I didn’t get my period at all until i missed my 4th shot. Everyone is different though!
I have never had any problems with the depo. I was on it for 2 years. Stopped when my husband and i started trying for a baby. And been on it since i stopped breastfeeding a year ago. No issues whatso ever.
I've been on it for 4 years and now I have to get a new birth control because it has stopped working she said I should have been off if after 2 years but I just found this out

@amandabl, how long you had to wait until the second shot? Did you have cramps?

You have to get the shot every 3 months & no which was a good thing !
