She's very expressive and has really grown into herself and her personality and I couldn't love her more. 2 years ago I went into labor at 40 weeks and 3 days. I contracted for 10 hours and was in active labor after they broke my water for 45 minutes. Her heart rate was dropping fast, found out her cord was wrapped around her neck twice, she passed her maconium in utero, and she got stuck in the birth canal. O.R. was on standby but my doctor said she didn't have that long because her heart rate had already dropped too low and wasn't recovering . So, she used the forced forceps method. The nurse brought in 3 wrong pairs before she got it right. No pain meds made that part excruciating. I suffered 2nd degree external and internal tearing as well as anal fissuring and lacerations from it. She wasn't breathing or crying. She was taken from me for about an hour while they suctioned her and took vitals to make her stable. It was the most emotional, painful day of my life...but she was worth every second. Mommy loves you Samira.
