Who told you to give him water and for what purpose? I was told to not give babies water until 10 months at the earliest with doctor's supervision because of water toxicity.

Wipe them with a wet wash cloth or you can also get a baby tooth brush with baby safe tooth paste. That’s also safe if swallowed.

My pediatrician said I can give him 2-4 oz of water but people (and a dentists- didn't go for the baby but asked questions anyways) said to give him water before he goes to sleep or after his feeding so milk won't stay in his mouth and rot his teeth 🤷🏼‍♀️@damiensmommy1117

@damn.it.red, I was going to start wiping them with a wet cloth but would I have to do that at night after his feeding? He falls asleep while eating and I don't want to wake him up, would he be okay if I don't? Sorry he's my first and my niece had bad teeth so I'd like to prevent it

@aidensmomm, they say that if they go to sleep with milk on their teeth that’s what causes them to decay. I’d try to wait until he’s in a deep deep sleep and do it. Or try to feed him, clean his teeth then rock him to sleep. Might can try a pacifier. I know you might not want to but it could be the only way to prevent it.

@aidensmomm, my youngest has bad teeth. She has weak enamel due to her birth defect. Had to have all her baby teeth pulled and is waiting on her adult teeth so she can get a palate expander put in. It’s been a long road.
