any ladies on here take or have taken antidepressants while pregnant? i used to take them as a teen…

I take lexapro. I've taken it with both pregnancies. 😊

@lavender13 yea I was on it for about a year or so before I got preg the first time. And I'm still on it now and it works great for me. I can tell when I miss a day or two! Lol

@lavender13 not that I was told. They told me that its safe while pregnant. I also took klonopin for anxiety but its NOT safe while pregnant so I stopped that when I found out I was preg

@lavender13 I completely understand! Its alot better for me to take them than be a wreck all the time! Plus I need to not be depressed so I can take Care of my 15 month old daughter as well lol

@hazelnautumnsmomma125, yeah my bf has been on meds n we both prefer not to have them. but it’s either about me or the baby and im choosing the baby

I decided to stop them once I got pregnant with my first just as a precaution and haven’t been on them for over 3 years now
