It will be fit for him. They just want to make sure you don't have bugs running around or weed plants or a meth lab. Lol.

But idk for sure, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't come back after your daughter is born. They have to have a case open to do something like that I believe.

@courtney.welsh, well I’m living in the laundry room.. it’s not even a room... I don’t know, they are saying if the house isn’t how they want it, my nephew will go to foster care.. if would end up being an open case.. I don’t want my nephew being taken away but I’m also worried about how they would go about it for my daughter if it’s not fit in their eyes...

@caityyy_lynnn, that's okay, I would think. As long as everything else is okay. I've never felt with cps so I don't know exactly what they look for...

But I swear, unless you were a danger to your daughter, they wouldn't come back.

@caityyy_lynnn, there can be cases where cps with come back to the house after the baby is born even if they are coming for a different child...you’re all in the same household so yes it can happen unfortunately..

I have delt with cps and sometimes they’re just mean and take kids especially if they’re young, but whether they take your nephew or not they won’t come back after your daughter is born because it has nothing to do with you

They won't investigate you or your child if the house is stable. They don't care where you stay in there. All they look for is animal fecies and make sure the house is liveable for the child. They can't come and take your child without a case.

Just remember that as long as you are healthy, clean and it's an okay environment. ? It'll be fine. They try and keep kids with family whenever possible. There are certain rules and guides that are different for every state. I would look up yours (: and for the age of your nephew. For example? In Utah, children/siblings of different sexes can't share a room over the age of 4. It's not like a law? But if cps or the state gets involved it is something they can mention.

Make sure he has a bed to sleep on, food in the house, it’s clean, no smoking on the inside.

@kkmamax3, my nephew sleeps in a pack in play and my family smokes..

@caityyy_lynnn, well just make sure they don’t smoke in the house the day they come. And that counts as a bed.
