What happens at your 20 week scan hun? Xx

For me they measured every part of the baby, made sure she was okay and told me the gender and made sure I had no questions @skylarrose82

You should hear the heart beat at your first midwife appointment she should use a Doppler at the appointments but if you get referred to a consultant before that they will do it :) xx@skylarrose82

No but it was my first scan, I haven't heard my baby's heartbeat yet I thought it happened at 20 week scan xx

Ah the scans are usually just the photos , well mine have never had the baby's heartbeat. I had my first midwife appointment around 15 -16 so you should have yours soon xx @skylarrose82

Oh right that what my appointment on 27th is..... Maybe because I'm 16 weeks xx

@skylarrose82 yeah :) and you only really see a consultant if your midwife refers you to them at your very first meeting when she took all your details or if she feels you need to see one xx
