Can you still feed the baby while on that medicine?

Just keep an eye out for the signs of mastitis.. I got it twice and needed medicine xxx

It's about 2 weeks of pain unfortunately. Keep going the more you feed the easier it becomes. Do get under a hot shower and hand express and massage your breasts. Or use hot wet flannels and do it. Honestly it flipping KILLS and I hated massaging but it is what it is. The ease of breastfeeding is worth it though! Keep strong.

What everybody else has already said above, I also found going in a hot shower/bath and hand expressing while in helped too with the discomfort. 😊

At the beginning your breasts will be very sore and engorged it's just your body regulating how much baby needs. I put a hot flannel on mine and used a breast pump to express so that my breasts didn't feel so sore. It'll go down soon though trust me :) x

Hey, yes mine were extremely painful for a couple days. I just expressed using my hands as best as I could even though only drips came out and it took me a good 20mins each time, it relieved a lot of the pressure. I also bought some heat/ cold breast pads from boots which gave a lot of relief.. Keep persevering it'll go away after a couple days. X
