When did everybody move their little one to their own room? I am so sick of friends and family being rude and shaming or laughing that my baby is still in my room. He sleeps 11 hours. Randomly will wake but not often. And we planned to move him closer to a year. I always heard APA suggested that. Am I that insane for that decision?
Just do what is best for you and your baby and don't listen to what others think. You don't need negative people in your life. Who likes a negative Nancy anyways not I @mamabeartaryn
@firsttimemommy84, that’s what I thought! And everybody acts like I’m insane. Thank u
My son is 7 months and sleeps in his crib in my room. They tell you to have your baby sleep in your room until at least a year old to reduce sids @mamabeartaryn
@birdknees79, thank you. Makes me feel better knowing others keep their kids close longer than others
@aprilhearts, his nursery is 3 doors away. Which isn’t far but the fact that we don’t share a wall worries me while he’s little. I’d rather him be easiest to get to if need be
@mammaoftoddlermayhem, thank you! Once I had a kid everybody turned into an asshole it’s crazy
Don’t listen to anyone. What ever works for you and your family. In my situation my master bedroom is in the opposite side of the house of where the nursery is so she’ll sleep with us until she’s 2.
@noahs_momma, that would be me checking constantly. I just do what I feel is right. But everybody has opinions and how they did it right and I’m doing it all wrong 🙄
@mamabeartaryn, yes I was up all the time checking on him I still get up and just make sure he’s fine. Who really knows what’s right it’s all trial and error
@noahs_momma, yeah I figure the longer I wait he harder it is. But I read so much about sids. And idk it seems so scary leaving him in a big room all alone too early. I assume it gets easier as it becomes successful
We started early I believe it was 2-3 months I’d read horror stories about kids being hard to break from sleeping in parents room. It was tough for me but every night got better
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
My son didn't sleep in his own room till he was 10 months.. the first few nights were hard for him but he adjusted and we have a baby monitor. He's never co slept with us so I think that was easier that he was used to sleeping in his crib by himself already
