@daniellejan good! That's your best option but don't feel bad if you need it. They also have IV meds that take the pain away they make you sleepy though that's all.

@skyy12221, see all the side effect would totally freak me out. Lol I already get really bad headaches as is so I’m going to lay off the epidural until I really need it.

@daniellejan yeah other than getting stuck twice but I have scoliosis so that's why but side effects didn't freak me out I do hate the itching all over your body that can last up to 30mins and luckily I didn't get those epidural headaches. And yeah I'm shy too so I do a lot by myself

@skyy12221, everything went well in the process of the epidural? It didn’t freak you out how you couldn’t feel your legs and did you feel as if you were paralyzed? And my husband family is always telling me that they wanna help but I’m so shy when it comes to asking for help. I’m the type of person who will just suck it up and just do everything myself. I guess it’s a pride thing.

@daniellejan yes I did I don't plan on getting it this time though but with my first I had back pain for a year after and with my second only a few months. And you'll be a great mom! And your husband will be a great dad! Just have to take it one step and one day at a time. Remember to ask for help if you need it and it's ok to get a break!

@skyy12221, I’m pretty bad when it comes to taking any medication. And I tend to freak myself out, I’ve heard so many stories about how the epidural went bad, enough to where woman almost died... I think that’s what freaks me out the most! Did you get it? If so what was your experience? And I hope i learn. I wanna be the best mother I can be to my son. I just can not wait to hold him in my arms.. it’s crazy to think my husband which is my soul mate and I made a human being. I’m more than excited

@daniellejan that's totally understandable! When it comes to labor and delivery it depends on your pain tolerance and determination to do it drug free but even if you do get an epidural that's ok! When it comes to knowing what to do your motherly instincts will kick in as soon as he's out I promise! And you'll learn all his different cries, it may take a few days or weeks but you will!

@skyy12221, I’m so anxious. I’m a first time mom. Sometimes I think can I even go thru with labor and delivery ( especially since I wanna go without the epidural) and also how will I know that to actually be a mom and know the reasons why my son is crying, what he needs etc

@daniellejan lol same! And ready as I'll ever be! Haha hopefully its not as bad as I'm thinking. I just hope my older 2 will be understanding and they all will be on the same schedule

@skyy12221, I’m sitting up as well. I hate when I lay down all snuggled up and I feel a burp coming and it’s acid. I get so grossed out!! Lol are you ready for baby number 3?!

@daniellejan I'm in bed sitting up right now eating peppermints lol but same here, it'll be worth it!

Heartburn gets the best of me alllll night long! I have to try and sleep sitting up. Most uncomfortable position ever. But less than two weeks my son is born and hopefully no more heartburn 😁😁
