Adding cereal to your baby's formula , did it help them sleep longer at night ?

It’s empty calories, so it won’t really help. It’s also a choking hazard.

Adding cereal to their bottle will not make them sleep longer. It can constipate them though and make for one fussy baby. Baby will sleep longer when they are ready 😜

@tiffanyf, Haha my mom told me Lainey’s entire infanthood to do it and I kept telling her piss off. 😂 They usually do cereal in bottles for babies with severe acid reflux.

My mom used to do it with me all the time at night to make me sleep longer but it’s also not good because it’s puts a lot of weight on the baby.

Pediatrician says don’t give them any baby cereal or food til 6months , just more milk !!! That’s what’s making babies be obese

My pediatrician told me to try it with my son 13 years ago. Lol he was a big baby and ate constantly. It wasn't done to help him sleep longer necessarily but because I was exhausted breastfeeding him every hour. And I only did a tiny bit in his bottle. That was back in the day tho when things that aren't ok now were ok then. Lol
