I took mine out as soon as I found out I was pregnant so my piercing holes wouldn't be leaking milk too.

You do have to take the jewelry off every time you feed. I ended up letting it close because it was just a mission. My piercing hole squirts milk though 😂

So no jewelry happens to come loose and choke baby

I think you need to take the piercing out to feed.
