I really thought I was getting a baby shower and like no one has even thought about giving me one. This is my first baby i mean no one has to do anything for me I just at least thought they had plans for me and they don’t. I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
So I just found out I'm pregnant with my second baby on Thursday and I told my mom on Friday after my fiance told his mom and dad and today I was talking with my mom and if baby is a boy I'm not going to have a baby shower but if it's a girl it's going to be a small baby shower and my mom told me that I can't have another baby shower that it's now how it works. So do I have a shower or not? Any advice?
