Tonight my worst fear was so close to being realized. Before I even heard about the shooting I got a text from my husband to say he was safe. The whole night I have been worried sick, keeping in constant contact, and dreading the news. A close friend has died. My husband was going to take rides at Route 91 but at the last minute decided to wait at another casino. So tonight when my husband finally walked through that door I completely broke down. I never thought something this severe could happen to our city. We have two military bases and a large police presence yet this asshole managed to inflict the most horrific experience I have ever dealt with in the 18 years I’ve lived in this city. It’s always hard seeing terror inflicted on any city but when it’s your own, when your own family is literally in the line of fire, it’s fear I’ve never known before. My heart goes out to all of Las Vegas tonight and all the families who won’t be as lucky with holding their loved ones again as I was. I feel both emotionally shattered and incredibly blessed.
You never truly know what you have until something like his shakes your very foundation.

I completely understand how you feel, having personally knowing people involved in the shooting at Orlando's Pulse nightclub. It really is a different feeling when it's YOUR city. I hope Vegas comes together, as Orlando did, in the midst of this tragedy 😢

Can u believe that yesterday I told my husband let's go to that country concert I'm bored and he said ok then when I was driving I had a strange feeling and I told him u know what let's just grab something to eat and go home. I imagine myself in that terror I could've lost my husband or son or maybe me. These thoughts took me to 12years ago when was a terrorist explosive attack just in front of our house ( back home) and I remember when I went out and saw tons of eyes, fingers, heads... on the ground I lost a bunches of friends and family and got sick for a long time. That's really sad why shooting people while having fun we could all live in peace
