Okay so new to Florida... are huge flying roaches common this time of year? Our house is super clean and I bomb every two months. But yesterday a huge flying roach attacked me in my kitchen. And tonight I just had my boyfriend loll another one ... wtf... I'm so done with the south... hate roaches..

Omg I am dealing with this tonight! I’m in Baton Rouge and they’re bad out here. We spray every month. So I am in bed and one flew from my window and hit me in the f-ing face, ran under my pillow and under the headboard! I woke up my fiancé screaming at him to get it and ran into my bathroom to shower/wash my face. Now I can’t sleep.

@butterfli_luv, omg me too.... he got mad I woke him up last night to kill one. They do come after you. If you scream then pause, turn to you, and run! Damn!!!!

@exoticyuri we always had them worse in the spring/summer because of all the bugs being out in those seasons. I do know Florida is just bad with the flying roaches in general, definitely don't miss those guys.

@laurenray93, I've been here since may and it's the first time I've seen the big ones inside my house. Small ones here and there on the back porch but ever inside. I thought they might be more common in the winter cause they are trying to escape the cold .

Yes. They are common around summer. I used to have them in my apartment out there in summer and no matter how much we sprayed bombed or told our complex they never went away. Fall/Winter though they are less common
