Has anyone ever had an ultra sound at 7 weeks and the doctor say they couldn’t see the baby?

I didn't know they even do ultrasounds that early. My first one was at 13 weeks.

My first was 6 weeks and he saw just a sack but with my son I saw the baby at 6 weeks I think it just depends

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and it took a minute but my doctor eventually found the little peanut lol

I had one at 6w4d and there is pretty much just a little sack. They found her with a transvaginal us

Probably just a little to early . Most you’ll see is a sack not to much sadly

@wolj27, yea they typically start doing them at 8 weeks when you have your first appointment

Oh okay thanks I have to go for another ultrasound on Tuesday but the wait is killing me I just hope everything is okay

That early they'll only see a gestational sac.

Yeah. Then did one at 8. Didn’t see anything but a sac. Then did another one at 12 and saw her.

@krenee1120, I know some places will allow you to get them at 8 weeks but others not til at least 12 weeks because there's not much to see so early on.

@wolj27, well that doctors offices that I’m speaking on doing it at 8 weeks they are only trying to confirm pregnancy and that everything looks okay then you have another at 12-13 weeks again with the doctor.
