Hey ladies!
What were some signs you had before you went into labor? Other than the normal ones like water breaking and strong contractions?
I’m getting close and I am super curious
@desirae.15, makes sense. You can go on walks, bounce on a yoga ball or do squats to help, avoid hot showers or baths because they will slow your contractions.... But actually with you being at 35 weeks you should try and slow them. As long as you are still feeling the baby move on a regular basis I think you are probably ok.
@sadiesue0718 I’m at week visits now
So I go back Wednesday, I cramped all Wednesday and Thursday morning so Thursday afternoon I went to labor and delivery to have them monitor me and check me again because I was worried, I was still at a 2, they told me I was having small contractions but they weren’t strong ones so they sent me home
@desirae.15, are you down to 2 week visits or week visits? Definitely call labor and delivery, they should be able to tell you if you should come in right away or not.
Oh wow!
Well I am 36 weeks
Was told I was dilated about a 2 on Wednesday, I’ve been cramping since Wednesday, It’s not unbearable cramping but definitely uncomfortable and a little painful but I’m not sure if they are contractions. My back had been killing me as well ! And nausea hits me so randomly and my body feels tired and restless, almost like I killed it at the gym
I have a feeling she will be here earlier than my due date
Just not sure about the way I’ve been feeling
I never saw my bloody show, and didn't have much back pain, but my brothers gf had back labor for almost a week before she had her son. She had also forced herself into labor "early". The baby came and they found out he wasn't actually due for another 4 weeks and she was supposed to be 2 weeks behind me.
So I'm not sure how much of her week long back labor was actually labor, she lifted a bed and moved it down 2 flights of stairs against better judgment...
I had contractions for 34 hours before my water broke, about 24 of those hours were spent at home. I stayed up for the first night timing them, which got old and I didn't sleep much, that day I sat on the ball till hubby got home and we went in at 6 pm, I was only at a 3 but they kept me because I was progressing. I then started having stronger contractions, got the epidural at 9 pm because everyone left the room for various reasons and I had no distractions. But I slept all night. At 6 am my water broke.
@sadiesue0718, thank you! I’ve been resting as much as I can it’s getting harder to do but I’m trying
