Has anyone else fallen into a deep depression during pregnancy? And if so what did you do about it? I just feel numb and so sad all the time and feel like I'm worthless and it's making me question whether I'm mentally stable enough to raise a child. It makes me feel awful. I have anxiety but the pregnancy is making it so much worse so I started taking my medicine again and it's making me feel like I have to throw up.

Yes, not only have I experienced depressive symptoms during pregancy, but I am also a licensed psychotherapist and prenatal depression is now recognized as much as post-partum. I would recommend that you look for someone who specializes in that type of therapy or women's issues for one on one. Or, even a pregnancy support group can be helpful and lead to friendly support.
I am sure you checked but make sure you can take your anxiety medications while pregnant some medications for anxiety and depression are not advised while pregnant as they can have complications on fetal development.

@autumnarrival17 thanks, yeah I've read all about post-partum but even googling everything I'm feeling all of the results were about post-partum depression. I have a normal therapist that I'm going to start going to. I have my first appointment on October 5th. I'm hoping that helps. I asked my doctor if I could take it, he prescribed it and I just started taking it yesterday so I've only had a total of 50mg of zoloft and all day I haven't been able to eat because I feel nauseous.

@alexisjordan.ky, yea a lot of stuff is still geared toward post- but just know you aren't alone. In addition to the hormonal and bodily changes and challenges of pregnancy - there are so many emotional ones as well. For as wonderful as the gift of life can be - it is a very multidimensional and transformative experience.
I would definitely start journaling a bit how you have been feeling- even in relation to medication/mood/ feeling sick - and see if there is any patterns - this can also help the therapist in seeing if there are any times of day or days of the week that may be more challenging than others.
I always hate how meds take 30 days to really become effective/ us to build the proper tolerance in our systems, but if it is still making you feel ill after a day or two I would call again- you might need a lower dosage and then build up to 50mg (just a thought).
Either way, congratulations, welcome and if you need anything holler 💕
