is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.
I'm so upset. My daughter has been scratching her head about a week. So I started washing it twice a day thinking that because I started putting gel in it that it's been drying it out. Well a week before school was out the school sent a note home saying there were children with lice. They took her ponytail down and did a head check... Today I spot the lice crawling in her head. She is hysterical. I'm black we don't usually get lice. She is bawling her eyes out. What do I do? I called my stepmom because she runs a daycare and she said grease it with Vaseline and cover it with plastic and wash and repeat for a few days and they will die... All of us use the same brushes... Now I know I need to wash everything in hot water. Ughh I hate this for my baby I can't get her to calm down. I told her it happens to people all the time and that we can get rid of it... Ugh I'm so lost this is my fault when they threw her hair moisturizer in the trash at the airport over thanksgiving I never bought anymore

@all4myprinces, my mom only watches her at the most 5 hours 2 times a week for me to work. When she’s with me she’s not laying down often so I didn’t think that that little bit of time could do it

@all4myprinces, I’m hoping once she starts sitting up and crawling around it’ll even out before it gets too far along.
