So today we were in Kroger and Baby Mac got super fussy 😩 so I breastfed him. Our cashier was very supportive 😊 but this rude girl I won’t call her a girl because women don’t act like that. She told me “that’s disgusting you should be ashamed of yourself your son is going to grow up and be a pervert because your letting him suck on your boobs”. I kindly turn around and said “ Mind your own tits “ she then preceded to tell me I am going to hell for breastfeeding my son. I said “ if me breastfeeding my son bothers you then go to another check out lane because I am not going to Stop for you or anyone else. I refuse to be mom shamed be you when you don’t even know me or my son . Your a stereotype rude little girl who needs to worry about herself and not about me and mine. She laughed and said “ I think it’s disgusting . I replied back kind of Loud where my husband could hear me he was playing his lottery.I don’t remember asking for your opinion. She went to another lane real quick . The nerve of some individuals. Anyways we are still breastfeeding not worried about a lame little girl calling it disgusting. Baby Mac is happy 😃 and that’s all that matters. Her opinion wasn’t ask for or needed.

Where did she think babies got milk from before formula was invented? And why would women make milk in their breasts if it wasn't to feed our babies? God made us like this so obviously we wouldnt go to hell for it. Some ppl are so ignorant! My mother in law constantly tells me how disgusting she thinks it is and why is my son not on cow's milk yet, I told her cow's milk isn't gonna give my son antibodies to keep him healthy, my milk is. She might not like it but I told her I'm gonna feed my son as long as he wants. I've been exclusively breastfeeding for almost 11 months and I'm going to keep going until my son is done. He bites me a lot now that he's getting teeth but at the end of the day I know I'm doing the best for him :)

Ugh and here I am wishing my supply was good enough to keep going that long! I see moms in public breastfeeding and I just wish I could be that mom. I’m not ashamed we had to switch to formula, and I’m glad science has created it. I just wish other people who didn’t have babies could get their lives together and realize we are supposed to make milk for our babies!
