So I just reached my second trimester and I have a question relating to after birth. Is it safe to have my cat ( she’s still a kitten) around my newborn? I’d hate to get rid of her but I don’t want any issues either. Is it okay?
P.s. I know about the litter and everything during pregnancy
As long as she doesn't get on baby supplies (litter, bacteria, ect) or can come in the room while she sleeps she should be fine.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
My sister has 3 cats and an almost 9 month old. She's had the cats for years. She keeps them out of the baby's room, keeps them off the counters, away from any of the feeding/changing items. Their litter is in the basement. The boy loves the cats though. He tries to chase them around, which is hilarious as he can't quite crawl yet.
If you can, though, once you have the baby, have someone bring home clothing or a blanket the baby has used so the cat can get used to the scent before baby comes home.
