Potty training today, lord help me!! They are 3 and a half with no will to even try going on the…

I thought the same thing when I got pregnant with my son. And my daughter had no desire to potty train, she was actually afraid of it for a while. But I had a lot of people tell me not to push it because with a new baby and Mommy giving all the attention to the new baby they would go to having accidents more and more. (Definitely didn’t wanna be cleaning up pee while tying to care for. Newborn) so I left my daughter decide when she was ready to potty train and honestly it’s been the easiest thing ever. One day she just woke up and was like ok I’m done with pull ups. But before that I started just putting her on the potty when she woke up in the morning or from a nap. Let her get used to the feeling of peeing. Then a couple days of that I would put her on whenever I went. Then just went from thrrr

@lex105, it does help! I’m a little embarrassed sometimes cause they are going to be 4 in March and still in pull-ups! They just don’t care about going in they’re pull-ups and I don’t have the money or want to be changing they’re pull ups anymore

@lp1988727, ya I have a sticker chart for peeing and every time they poop on the potty they pick out a toy out of the basket. So far they’ve both had 2 accidents

@alyssa_hoffmaster, I totally get it! My daughter will be 4 in March to. And she just potty trained about a month ago. But she’s only day trained. What we did to was set a timer for every 30 min on my phone and she knew when it went off that she had to go potty. And stickers and coins! She loved getting the coins.

@lex105, lol ya, we are doing ok, I have to make them go potty or they won’t go on they’re own. We’ve gone through about 8 pairs of underwear so far but hopefully it will get easier each day that passes

@alyssa_hoffmaster, each day will get easier! They will get the hang out it. Maybe try them naked? I’ve heard using underwear makes them feel like it’s a diaper

@lex105, they will literally pee all over the carpets haha I feel bad because they are crying because I make them go potty...I don’t want them to have a negative attitude towards going potty but they need to go haha
