Plancenta previa 17 weeks anybody????? Does it go away

Take it easy. I needed a pap at the time and I couldn't get one.

I didn't go on bed rest but I was told by my doctor no sex not to stick anything inside me.

I had it at 18 weeks and it went away at 20 weeks. My doc said it should move.

@dorrdanielle3 I hated the pelvic floor rest 😂😂.

@dorrdanielle3 it isnt something to worry too much about just take it as easy as possible. The bleeding is scary and can be concerning, definitely go in at the first sign because they'll need to check the placenta. Almost all cases clear up or at least lessen so hang in there momma.

@dorrdanielle3 I don't think so but call in the morning and ask. Usually it means (tmi for some) no sex, no orgasms, pelvic stress, ect. Anything that can basically cause contractions.

@dorrdanielle3 that would be 4th degree, and complete bedrest is up to your doctor but pelvic floor rest is usually mandatory. You might have bleeding so keep an eye out but other than the rest if it doesn't clear it just means a CS.

Do you know what grade yours is? With my second I had a grade 4 which still ended up correcting itself before week 26. Less likely the higher the grade but still very possible. If it isn't better by your anatomy scan you'll get another between weeks 26-32.
