Moms I need some help! I’ve been working at my job cleaning for a few months now. My fiancé got a factory job making a lot of money an hour. Unfortunately it’s shift work, 13 hours shifts, day or night. He works on holiday and weekends. I’m at the point where I don’t think I can keep my job anymore. We only have one vehicle at the moment. Getting to work is hard since we’re both working. Daycare is too expensive and tough bring him to daycare with only one car. At this point I’m just thinking of quoting my job and finding a flexible part time job. What do you think. There’s a lot more to this story but this is pretty much the jist of it.

I quit my job in August my husband wanted me to relax as much as I can before the baby comes and I had issues with my boss. I say if you guys are financially okay, why not quit your job and take some time to yourself and your baby

So mommas, I’m kind of in a mental battle with.. myself? I got offered a job today. I already have a job and I only have to work one 12 hour day a week and then usually I fill in for 5 hours one night a weekend. I have no insurance. No benefits. I just waitress. The job I got offered, I’ll be making about what I currently make in those 17 hours waitressing after taxes, daycare and insurance for 40 hours of work. Also means putting my little girl in daycare. My SO thinks it’s stupid of me to make her be in daycare all week to make the same amount of pay (or less some weeks) for over double the hours. I honestly kind of want to do it just for my sanity. I’m blessed to get to be a stay at home mom, but I’m going a little crazy. I’ve always worked. I feel like a loser, even though I bring in money. And damn, I’d like to go to the dentist if I need or the doctor and be insured! Am I selfish for wanting “to pay someone else to keep my kid for me,” as my bf puts it.
