Eli hasn't had a bottle in 2 months. Now we're trying to do a bedtime bottle with cereal and it is certainly turning into a challenging evening lol. He should sleep well after all this protesting.
I dont understand why some people let their toddlers still drink from baby bottles? Proper baby bottles? Just rounds off and knackers their teeth so younger years teeth ruined for sake of not making sure they use a more age suited cup / beaker ect. Or is it just me
My baby is still on the size bottles that you get in hospital because the tete on the tommee tippee bottles (and any other bottle) is too big for her... but i think I need to get her on the normal bottles now but is she still to small? She’s just over 6 pounds 🤔... Or what is everyone else using to bottle feed baby at about that weight ?
I just can’t win tonight! Was going to make Eliana a bottle and dropped the cereal bent down to pick it up forgetting I had an open bottle with formula in it and the bottle spilled all in my carpet 🤦🏻 ♀ And before anyone adds any smart comments... yes I put cereal in my almost 4 month olds bottles! No it’s not to make her “sleep longer” but to help with her reflux! If you don’t like it just keep scrolling 🤷🏻 ♀
I'm reading reviews on bottles && getting a little worried. . I didn't know baby's have to "latch" on to a bottle.. I thought a bottle was a bottle.. I got the avent bottles that I really wanted && someone also gave me the mam bottled. I want to buy more avent because I only have 10 bottles total. but I don't want to buy it && the baby rejects it. what do you guys think?
Just curious who breastfed & who bottle fed :) I’m going to bottle feed even though I have been told endless of times breast is best! But wondering what’s popular, what do you all prefer? :) xx

@beebaby yeah I'm thinking ill just try what @_sheriee said instead and do it during the day so it doesnt mess with bedtime routine so bad.

@_sheriee ok thanks. I was just following the ped advice. Its literally just 1tsp in 3 oz of milk.

Personally, I wouldn't introduce it especially through the bottle mama, it's easier for him to choke that way. You can spoon feed him tiiiiiny amounts so he gets used to the spoon as well. Good luck ❤

@beebaby yeah that's what i put in the post. Ped recommended introducing it to start slowly working toward solids. I'm thinking it might not happen tonight. Might have to try another approach. Idk how else to give it though.

Apparently he has decided after wailing through the first ounce that he will just go to bed without eating... He passed out lol. I guess we'll try again when he inevitably wakes up in 30 minutes or so.
