Thank you Lola!congratulations hun I bet your excited! I found out with my last child at 12 weeks as well. Its so exciting to find out the sex so early on..unless your having a gender reveal..usually the tech is pretty accurate also they can confirm with the genetics testing! Happy & healthy 9 mths hun

I agree with @jessicaarcaro I just found out my babies sex threw a ultrasound at 12 weeks 1 day an I'm having a boy! It doesn't get confirmed till later on in your pregnancy.....it gives you an idea..it also depends on how well the baby is developing...

It really is..I told a girl about it yesterday on here an she went found out the sex an saw her baby. The hospital wouldn't know if your telling the truth or not..its not like u would get into trouble..they can't deny u..if they did an something was wrong u can sue them. I have 4 kids an one on the way..if u have Medicaid they only give u two ultrasounds unless something could be wrong then u can get more. My tech was gonna tell me the sex at 12 weeks because their parts are formed but my babies legs are closed. I have to go for an ultrasound every 2 weeks so I go next Thursday to find out the sex...if you really wanna know u can do what I'm telling you...best of luck hun..only offered my opinion because I thought it would be helpful!

If you really want to know you could try sneak peak gender testing

Like I just said to each is their own...

Don't go to the hospital if you don't need to. They have jobs to do and actual sick people to tend to. I know how it is to wait! Find a 3D place near you and book to be seen at 15 weeks they will tell you the gender!

Lol..ok..would of know the sex of my baby at 12 weeks but the legs were closed..funny because someone just did it yesterday at 14 weeks an found out the sex...to each is their own!

@jessicaarcaro, hmm.. gender isn't 100% detectable on ultrasound until after maybe 15 weeks. At 13 weeks, their genitals almost look identical, so really only a genetic test would be able to give you a definite answer. I wouldn't chance wasting time for fake cramps at the hospital for an ultrasound tech to not be able to determine gender.

A lot of insurance companies do cover genetic testing @mrsdejean32, ask your doctor!

Yes, also u can go to the hospital too an tell them your cramping they will do an ultrasound an depending how nice u r to your tech she will tell you! Best of luck
