Any mamas have a VBAC? I find out Monday if I'm a good candidate and I really hope I am.

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

@smash6684 do you know how they determined if it was safe for you? From what I've read so far I should be okay. And congrats!

@smash6684 How was your experience? I'm playing the waiting game hoping I too can have a successful VBAC. @meetthevalentines2017 I was told as long as I had a low transverse uterine incision with my csection and no complications throughout pregnancy I was a candidate.

@kimny and that's pretty much what I've been told too. But I also read thatwaiting 18 months in optimal. Which I didn't do. But since I'm young and heal fast I should be fine. The Dr that sewed me up even said the way she overlapped my uterus she left it in perfect condition to have a VBAC in the future but she has since left the practice. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed because I would like to avoid another csection. I really want to have and experience a vaginal birth just one time and this is my last baby.

@meetthevalentines2017 you're right I forgot to mention that. I'd ask my doctor if I were you. I do know someone who had a Vbac before the 18month mark. I think doctor's preference also plays a big role. This is my last one too so I completely understand where you're coming from. Hopefully you can have your VBAC.

@kimny I have my appt on Monday to find out what this new Dr thinks. I usually just see a Np. My original Dr hasn't ever told me no. And I don't have high blood pressure like I did with my last. And it wasn't because of me that I had a csection, he ended up wrapping his cord around his neck and arm and that was the reason. So as long as she doesn't do that I should be okay.

@meetthevalentines2017 I switched from the doctor who delivered my son to this one I have now because the other one was too Csection happy. I'm really hoping you get some good news. Keep us updated. I was induced with my son and as it turned out they used a faulty monitor couldn't really see the fetal position accurately and still went ahead and induced me. Biggest regret of my life! I'm the 1st person in my family to have a csection.

@kimny me too! I was very upset but he got here and was the happiest baby and was healthy so I was thankful. I switched practices when I found out i was pregnant again with hopes of better service but the first thing she said was "once a csection always a csection" so I just up and left and went back to my old Dr. Figured waiting an extra 45 minutes at appts was better then getting split open again. 😂 I wish they would have done a later ultrasound so they would have seen the cord but I didn't have one after 20 weeks. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too!

@meetthevalentines2017 my old doctor had a similar slogan when it came to c-sections. I've only had 1 US this whole pregnancy too (20 weeks) and I'm super nervous since I had several with my son. I keep thinking what if something is wrong. I'm almost thinking about paying for an extra one out of pocket if I have to.

@kimny I did that to find out the gender at 15 weeks and will probably do another just to have some good 3d pictures and make sure everything is okay if my Dr doesn't give me one

@smash6684 everything with labor and dilating went good for me and I got to 8cm and when he went to decend into the birth canal he couldn't because he didn't have any cord left and it was making his heartrate drop so as long as she doesn't wrap her cord I should be okay
