I want to hear everyone’s birth stories!!❤️ I find them really interesting.
Here’s mine!:
My due date was originally August 31, 2017. But my baby decided to come 1 week late, September 7, 2017 at 1:29 am. Weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces and 20” long. Me. Jayden Thomas.❤️
I had my induction scheduled for September 6th at 7:30 pm and I remember thinking how am I going to pass time all day?? Well the night before, I was having what I thought was Braxton Hicks all night long. I woke up around 7 am but thought nothing of it. I waited it out until about 1 pm when I noticed something was going on because my belly really hurt in my shower, my husband told me they were contractions and i should time them. We timed them, and they were only 1 and a half minutes to 2 and a half minutes apart lasting about a minute long. Then we decided to go to the hospital. I went walking and walking waiting to be called. At 4:30 they said “you’re getting induced now” so I got changed and laid in bed. I ended up not having to be induced because my contractions were still 2 minutes apart. They checked my water bad and said MY BAG WAS ALREADY BROKEN. I had no idea. I was so confused I don’t remember it rupturing. I waited until about 9 to get my epidural, they screwed up on it. The first time they did it the doctor said he put it in the wrong spot and ruptured something. He gave me the medicine and immediately my pupils went full dilation, my heart rate rose super super high, I started to shake and fall over. So I had to calm down due to bad reaction and they did it a second time. At 11 my water bag broke even more, I heard a pop and it gushed all over the bed. At about 12 (midnight) the epidural felt like it wasn’t working anymore, my contractions were lasting 3 and 1/2 minutes long and never really ended, and I felt them down there every time. O had my doctor check me for dilation she said I was at 4 centimeters and she will come check again in 6 hours. I sat through that entire hour feeling intense pain and I couldn’t stand it anymore, around 1 am, my body started to push out of no where. I couldn’t hold back my body was just pushing. I started to yell because it hurt.. and my family was saying there’s no way because I was and have been a 4 all day long and my doc just checked me an hour ago. So I said “get someone in here because I’m pushing if they’re in here or not” and I started to push on my own. My nurse came in and said I was just worrying, but I told her to check me and she said “you’re a 10, start pushing and don’t stop”. (Went from a 4 to a 10 in less than an hour) I pushed for 25 minutes and out popped the love of my life, Jayden!! ❤️ I felt everything. I felt him come out, and my three tears. It was all worth it. it was so stressful and crazy considering it was my first baby. He’s 2 weeks old today.
I want to hear everyone else’s stories!!

My son was due feb 10. I left work feb 6th cause I was EXHAUSTED. And I read that the more relaxed you are the more likely you are to go into labor and several people told me that they left work and their babies were born that night/the next day so I'm like ok lemme try this. Well he never came on his own lol. I went in February 20th for induction. They hooked me up to IV's around 7am and got a cooks catheter in me around 8am. Said it would fall out on its own when I reached 4cm. Left me alone (with my bf) basically all freakin day not checking me or anything. It never fell out. Finally they started pitocin at 8pm. Took the cooks catheter out at 10:45ishpm. Only dilated to 4cm. I contracted all night. Around 5am I went to the bathroom and noticed some goopy bloody liquid dripping down my leg and the nurse said my water broke. She checked me and I was 5cm so I was like YES FINALLY. Well my contractions were coming and going and I was not dilating. Eventually my contractions got worse and I just wanted to sleep at this point I was awake for like 24hrs so I asked for drugs lol. They gave me stadol and I will never ever recommend that. It made me feel like I was dreaming as soon as I closed my eyes. It was awful. Made me nauseous. I never ended up dilating past 5cm so around 12pm my doc was like we need to do a section. So they prepped me and wheeled me in and he was born at 2:23pm, my bf didn't get to cut the cord and I didn't get to hold him right after cause there was meconium on him and he was breathing funny :(. After they cleaned him up ian held him and then I finally got to hold him and breast feed and the end lol

@taradee17, oh my gosh that’s one intense story. You’re a tough momma! I can’t imagine having contractions for that long or even taking a shower with an IV in! Amazing. 😁 congratulations on your girl ❤️

My due date was February 14th 2017 I had my baby January 31st 2017

For weeks before I had her (I was 34 wks) I was at a 2, I was having painful contractions that would last from 8at night to 6 in the morning !!! I went to the doctor and they gave me meds because they weren’t Braxton Hicks they were preterm contractions like it hurt so bad nothing helped water ,moving ,baths nothing helped!! I went in when I was 36 wks and they checked my fluids they were low so they kept me for 8hours on an IV and they improved enough for me to go home.
When I was 38wks along I went to the doctor and told him I had been leaking clear watery fluid and I didn’t smell my underwear but when it would leak I could smell something sweet. I told my doctor that and they checked I had been leaking amniotic fluid and my fluids were extremely low in the sac, they kept me over night on an IV to see if it would improve but it didn’t, that morning the doctor checked me and i was at a 5
they said they would have to induce me it was 6AM he broke my water.
I felt disgusting there was already so much blood and wetness so I got permission to take a shower (still on an IV)
Then after that shower the contractions started getting hard !! I finally got the epidural. I’m not sure how long I had been pushing but my guesstimate would be about 20-minuets or so. I was throwing up most of the time throughout this . Then they cut me because if not I would tear naturally. At 12:28 in the afternoon my baby girl was finally born !!
