So tonight we tried the cry it out method to get ayla to sleep(in our case she only whinged) it did take 45 minutes for her to drop off but it was no way near traumatic like I thought it would be and I got less frustrated with her not settling as I just went in to offer her dummy and left again after settling her a little bit if she needed it... something we're going to stick to and hopefully she can start to fall asleep herself easily😊
