With my miscarriage I got pregnant 8 months after. It was a surprise but I got pregnant. I had been trying for three months before and once I started being careful again I got pregnant. 🤷🏻♀️

My Ob told me to wait until I had 1 normal period before trying again. I miscarried in July, had a period in October and November, and conceived my son in November

I was just reading the discharge papers I was given in the emergency room and it said I had to wait a few months or something like that . I’m just scared to try and get pregnant and than have another miscarriage , I can’t go through this again 😕

@oceanna, That’s exactly how I felt and why I was paranoid and hated when I got pregnant with my daughter. It wasn’t until I gave birth to her that I was calm. My miscarriage was bad and the whole process was hell. If you believe in God. Pray, talk to him to give you comfort and give you what your heart desires.

I had mine exactly 2 years later (same date). You can sooner but I was an emotional wreck. Miscarried at 4 months and I almost died and needed surgery so I was also scared to get pregnant. I think it's smart to take time to grieve but some people like to get pregnant right away and that's fine too. I think they told me no sex for 2 months. But that also might've been because I had surgery so if yours was an early miscarriage it's probably okay sooner

They say to wait a year for your body to heal. Mentally though I never think we fully heal. Just trust yourself to know when you are ready, I suggest waiting a little while though to process everything, because it's hard going through another pregnancy after miscarriage. It's scary enough being pregnant but fear is there more when you've had a loss. I was on pins and needles the first half of my last pregnancy. Good luck to you and I'm sorry for your loss!
