@pinklily if ur getting induced try nt to stress it. pray everything goes fine bt if u have a c section its nt bad. its a little under and hr surgery, ur awake bt they numb ur lowet body and its all good, its the healing process that sucks bt it goes by fast. at 2 weeks i was driving. its been 4 weeks now bt now that i look back everything turned out fine

i had it bt found out when i was 40 weeks. i was trying for a vbac bt had to get a c section as soon as my results came back. i didnt even know this was a thing until i told my dr i itch like crazy

@pinklily, mine went down on their own. Usually you can request to be put on a specific medication to help reduce the levels. If you’re this late in then there’s not much to do except maybe try the medication

@mykennamburns if you don't mind me asking how did you get your levels to go down. Probably too late for me cause I'm 38 weeks and they wanna induce me at 39 but would still like to know.

I had it while pregnant and, thankfully, got my levels down enough before 37 weeks so I didn’t have to be induced then. I even went overdue. But honestly hon, I think you’ll do great! Most hospitals only do C-secs in absolute emergency so as long as, when you’re induced, baby isn’t in distress and your heart rate remains normal and stuff then just be positive and everything will be fine!
