So i had my son spontaneously (without induction) and now im being induced on tuesday will induction take longer even though this is my second pregnancy?
Update
Today my blood pressure was 158/94 and 140/101 for the second reading so they called the hospital to tell them I'll be on my way for induction. Currently sitting at my house just freaking out but about to head to the hospital.
This will be my first induction, to the mommas who've been induced how was your experience? Was it easy, was it a long labor or was it quick? Etc.

On my way to my Induction 😊
induction???
So they want to talk about induction at my next appointment. I'll be 40w2d. So I'm not early. What are some of your experiences with induction. How do they do it? Will it raise my chances if having to have a c-section. I don't want a c-section. If anyone can give me some info or advice. That would be great.

Scheduled induction this Friday!! So many emotions going through my mind 😱🤗
Just like regular labor, induction time varies on your dilation, current effacement, the baby's engagement and position. For some it can be quicker for others shorter. My first was 16hrs my second between 4 and 5hrs (depending on if you start timing at hospital booking) with induction.
