So apparently my very house broken dog has been peeing in the house for DAYS in this one particular…
So apparently my very house broken dog has been peeing in the house for DAYS in this one particular spot that's not well lit. We noticed it's smelled funny for DAYS but didn't smell like pee so we ignored it ... I just happened to take my flashlight back there and there's a pool of piss... he's been peeing there for DAYS. Even though we let him out to pee 3 times a day. I want to kill him.

He also pooped in the house last night. I'm 8 pregnant and not in the mood to be battling with this behavior

And to make it even worse, my husband immediately jumps to his defense and starts blaming me by asking me, are you sure you gave him a chance to poop and pee outside?? Did you watch him poop?? Did you see him pee?? Are you sure you took him out

Ughhhh!!!! My dog has been doing the same and I so badly want to get rid of her. My bf is in charge of picking up after her

M husband is against locking him up at night so he literally roams the house as he pleases with free reign everywhere all night long and I HATE it....

Yeah, that can happen with puppies, especially since he's marked his spot now. Just have to clean that spot really well and make sure you take him out a bit more often just in case he really can't hold his bladder. My 6 yr old dog has had accidents in the house when I wait too long to take her out. I also had to compromise with my SO because I wanted them to have free reign and he didn't so at night, they sleep in the kitchen so any accidents can easily be cleaned. It'll work out!

@simmiebaby @tyrellprovost and my husband has already called to blame everyone and everything else except admit the dog could just be showing out and knows better. Talking about it's a punishment to make him sleep in a room at night. Instead of letting him be free... It's about to be a fight tonight if he lets this dog out

@tasharoshell I know it's a hard compromise when it comes to a pet but he has to be willing to compromise too. It's only a punishment if the lines are blurred and the dog doesn't understand but if you put a bed somewhere and toys and praise them when they go in there or something, they will be fine. My dogs whined for about a day when they couldn't sleep in the bedroom but now they love their beds and have all of their toys and water in the kitchen. It takes time but both of y'all have to be willing to compromise on it -😊
