So since everyone is different what do y'all consider necessities for a hospital bag and necessities for a normal diaper…

Oh and easy make-up stuff in case you want to glam up a little when people show up AND something I guess your hair back and do your hair with. Something I forgot too)

Vaseline or chapstick my lips got really dry at one point. 🙁

1. Two baby outfits. One being the going home outfit. Cute and comfortable.

2. Toiletries

3. Comfy clothes for you maybe 3 outfits. No jeans. Basically pajamas or sweats.

4. Night gown if you plan on breastfeeding and you don't really want people watching it's just a little more private.

5. Slippers

6. SNACKS! (I wish I would've thought about this!)

7. iPad/laptop or phone including chargers.

8. Coloring books or books to read

(It gets boring!) lol

1.) HEATING PAD. Plug in AND microwaveable one.

2.) warm clothes for baby (even being born in the dead of summer, they keep the hospitals super cold.) I also recommend a newborn size and a size up. My daughter was born 9lbs + and didn't fit into any newborn clothes. My mother and to run home and find us clothes to bring back to the hospital. Don't bother with a fancy "going home" outfit unless you're planning on seeing people / taking pictures. Comfort is key for you AND baby.

3.)For you - a robe, hair care items, toothbrush & toothpaste and again, comfortable clothes for going home. Loose leggings or sweats are perfect. Walmart has sweats sets for $9.99!

4.) don't stress! If you get there and realize you forgot something, I'm sure someone can always quickly run home or to the store.

I brought deodarant, shower gel, underwear, bra, and wore what i came in back home. Baby had a picture outfit, come home outfit, blanket and that's it.
