So I still have no gas, landlord still hasn't sent anyone out to fix the cooker, I'm beyond annoyed…

Don't know when your rent day is, but you can refuse to pay rent until it's fixed. 👌 that normally gets landlords moving

@beffgoude, it's the 1st of every month, he's not been that bad as in he's got in contact with me, but everything is through email, but he wanted me to call up and get it sorted but there's details I don't know that he does, I emailed him ages ago saying it has to be him to call and get someone to fix it, but haven't heard anything, it's so cold in my flat and I have no idea what I'm going to do about the kids dinner yet. It's literally one thing after another in this place x

@sarahlucindagiddins if not other option is you sort it out, and ask for it to be deducted from rent for next month. That's what we did when washing machine went at ours. But because it's a white good thats gone they are suppose to sort it straight away and not leave you without especially as you have kids too.

@beffgoude, well basically our gas company is a local one that everyone has in the block and he wants someone from British gas to fix it, I have spoken to British gas and they basically said to me because we are not a customer and have no customer reference number they would need to speak to the landlord which I have emailed him saying but I still haven't heard anything from him, it would be so much easier if we could just do it ourselves but we have been told by British gas they won't send anyone without first speaking to the landlord

@beffgoude, he's just emailed me saying he's calling them now so hopefully someone will come and fix it, but I can't really see it being done till tomorrow, I guess it's takeaway tonight lol x
