I’m sorry if this offends people, but I don’t understand how some of y’all can get on here and tell your symptoms and ask a bunch of women if you’re pregnant instead of just taking a dollar test. Yeah, it sucks to get a negative, but I’d rather have physical proof of a negative or a positive than some strangers OPINION based on what you told them. Why do that to yourself? Why let someone tell you you’re probably pregnant based on symptoms that can literally happen to you for any reason, and most importantly, during/right before your menstrual cycle? It seems like you would rather be happy on false hope because someone THINKS you could potentially be pregnant than just know the truth, and then you’re all that more sad when you finally do what you should’ve done to begin with and it turns out negative and someone got your hopes up. Surely I’m not the only one that thinks this.
@vamommy89, it’s okay to ask questions. But asking someone if you’re pregnant or not is not a serious question, because none of us can answer it. Ask about trying to conceive, what you can do to start ttc, vitamins/supplements people used. Ask about a symptom, was it common? How early did y’all start having the symptom? Ask about what brand other mothers use for any and all things. Where did you buy it? Was it worth it? How did your kid react to it? Ask for experiences. What was your first ultrasound like? What was giving birth like? Did you get to shower right after? What about eat? When do you get to see your baby? Ask questions that can be answered. This was made to help moms help each other and support eachother. Not give out false information/hope. If you don’t actually know the answer don’t comment some false information. Many people on here are first time moms and will believe anything anyone tells them because they think/know everyone means well when in reality they are misinformed. That’s not helpful. And asking if you’re pregnant on your newsfeed is the same as going to google and asking, it just doesn’t make sense. And there’s even DIY tests you can make at home, they might be myths or fake or what not but I’ve tried a few and they worked for me but I also took a test afterwards. There’s one that only requires urine and toothpaste. If you don’t have toothpaste in your house that’s just gross. But even those tests make more sense than asking anyone on the internet. It’s allegedly(some people don’t believe they work) caused by a chemical reaction that happens when hCG meets the other variable; toothpaste, sugar, baking soda, etc. that’s physical, scientific proof. Grab your tube of toothpaste and try before going online and asking a bunch of people that literally cannot tell you if you’re pregnant. It’s impossible for anyone to know. I would rather see your toothpaste mixed with urine in a picture on this feed asking if it looks positive, than some one list everything they’re feeling that you could feel for a number of reasons and ask if their pregnant. It just doesn’t make sense.
