Pretty much every night until a little over a month ago my LO would nurse, fall asleep in bed with me, and then I would lay her in a sleeper next to my bed and she would stay there all night. Mostly 8+ hours. Now she will only stay in there an hour or less and want to nurse to fall asleep again. She used to sleep in my bed really well so I wouldn't mind that but now she wants to wake up and use me as a pacifier to fall back asleep over and over. It happens like 10 times a night or more. How can I break this? Should I try her crib? I love nursing her and having her in bed but it's getting exhausting how many times she wakes up. Thanks for any advice ❤️
@taryn.jolly, I nursed her about 30 minutes before bed. I do nurse in middle of night though, she wakes once but always goes back in her crib
@ashleydunn, did you nurse to sleep and then lay her down and just soothe if she woke again or just not nursing at all at night?
@jenniferrolfe200, she is eating solids. Just kinda sucks a little to go back to sleep. Not really drinking milk too much it seems
My daughter did this until I stopped nursing her at night and "sleep trained" her.
is she eating food yet? she might just be needing more food and less nursing to help her sleep better
My son was 2 in April and did that till I stop nursing and now he sleeps all night. You might try moving her to the crib. Do a nice warm bath nursing and maybe she will stay asleep
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
@ashleydunn, gotcha. Thanks for the help. Think being next to me she thinks she needs to over and over so maybe moving to the crib will help!
