Can't decide what to do for Isla's first birthday! Was thinking a fall theme, a girly theme (pink, gold, etc) or maybe just really colorful decorations! Thoughts? What did some of you mommies do for your LOs first birthday that maybe you would do or not do again?

And defiantly look into Sam's Club for a cake!! They'll make you a two tiered cake for $35! I called and asked Winn-Dixie for a price on a two tier, and it was $50!!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
