If you were sick then can you make your baby sick by breastfeeding her while you are sick??

No it's actually good to breastfeed! The antibodies get passed through your milk to the baby so they don't get sick :)

No it's actually recommended to breastfeed from what I read it helps build their immunity

Not thru the milk but if you kiss the baby or if you touch your mouth or nose and then touch the baby you can get the baby sick that's what the pediatrician told me.

Keep breastfeeding! I'm currently getting over a cold but I was so sick 3 days ago, my baby is only about to be 2wks tomorrow and thankfully she didn't get sick or at least so far hasn't shown any signs. I was freaking out at first but I was told breastfeeding really helps

I knew breastfeeding gave them better immunities and all, but I wasn't sure about if I got sick would it pass to her. I'm running a high fever as well as throwing up and losing to much blood. I can barely walk to the bathroom right now without falling.
