TMI question. How long do you have to take stool softeners/laxatives after having the baby before…

Took me 2months

@queenaranda I'm going crazy here. I think my problem is, I was in the hospital for a week myself when I had my girl because i lost to much blood and with losing my daughter's twin and all that they never told me anything about the stool softener till she was already 2 months old. I went the whole time without a poop. Now I'm hurting and ripping and in so much pain.

It gets better but when I go, it still hurts & it's been a year. I think I have a hemmorroid or tear or something. I'm supposed to get a colonoscopy to make sure it's nothing serious but haven't went yet.

@lifewithlynniejade88 well with the blood transfusion I already had plus all the iron pills I have to take, I'm just worried because I'm still losing a lot of blood.

Yeah, I'd be worried too. Mine didn't bleed too bad, just a wipe of blood. Have u talked to your OB? May need to see a gastroenterologist.

@lifewithlynniejade88 yeah. I have 6 different tears that can't heal because right as I start to heal I have a bad poop and open them back up again. So not only am I still bleeding from my V, I'm also bleeding from my but.

Oh my! I only bled from my V for like a week! U poor thing. I think that's what keeps happening to me too with the tearing. It will heal up but I'm on the constipated side & it re tears. So annoying.
