I sometime put yhem in there carseat in side the house to strap them in and put a movie and i can clean their play area

Put a movie so he can see find that one movie he like and keeps him consentrated dont give him sweet snacks cuz thats mess feed him before you clean and take time to pause to sit with him like 15 min here and there to check diaper give him drink lay with him so he wont feel lonely i have a 1 yr and 2yr old and thats how i have to do it

Buy the gates put them so your son wont go to therest of the house and put kid music while cleaning once your done cleaning each room close door buy the safety door nobs if he know hoe to open doors.

@lana30319, although I did want to mention that I started babysitting a 9 month old so I got a pack and play. My daughter likes to play on it for a short time while I'm cleaning that room. That could help your child for at least a short time. I call in her little "jail" it's also a perfect time out place since she can not escape easily.

@lana30319, that happens with me too she will try to clean but the mess will just look worse

@raylalewis7, yes I do try do do it when she sleeps but by that time I would only have about one hour to clean up the whole house and that's not enough time. I usually try to clean at night but my SO likes to come home to a clean house in the afternoon.

@claudia.aguilar.123 I feel the same way. I can't just ignore nor stand to hear her cry. Mine try and help but end up making a bigger mess. Or I have to keep her and her sister apart. That's why I need to learn how to clean with a terrible two year old

@nitarose070793 but what about cleaning the bathroom and kitchen? I tried different ways but I can't go tend to the baby if she wakes up while I am cleaning that area with dirt and chemicals on me. Cause my toddler likes to help me clean also.

I let my daugther try and help me clean so she has learned to clean up her toys and sweep kinda and put things in the trash. It takes some patience. But cleaning while they eat works too. Like doing laundry etc while they are in a chair

@lana30319, that's what happens with me. I tell my SO that she won't let me clean and he says that is not an excuse. To lock her In her room and put her tv on for her. But as a mother the last thing you want is to hear your child screaming and begging to get out. And anyways while I clean she is trashing that room.

Girl I want to know also! I try but then I get tired. Her dad complains but what suggestions do he offer.
