This is kind of an awkward question. But for you amazing ladies that have unfortunately had multiple miscarriages, I have a question. My SO's cousin's wife just had her third miscarriage at 16 weeks :( she made it sound more like a birth experience and loss, than your typical early miscarriage. What makes it worse is that 3 other women in the family are pregnant so we were all excited to have newborns together. My SO wants to do something/ send something to them to express how sorry we are. They live far away and we can't go see them. He wanted to give them flowers, but I thought hat would be weird... like who cares about flowers when I just lost my baby... idk I'm trying to put myself in her position and I'm having a difficult time :(

I would of loved to get flowers when I lost my first two, nobody in my family really had any compassion for me when I lost my two angels, and I would of loved to get something thoughtful like flowers because that would of meant a lot to me in the middle of all the pain, and heart break, and it is a very painful thing to lose a child no matter how far into pregnancy you are because its still a loss of your baby 😢

When I had my stillbirth at 21 weeks last year my husband's aunt sent me a customized bracelet for my angel baby that had angel wings on it and her name and some other stuff I wear it all the time and it meant alot to me more then flowers

@amberjacq, right, I'm not saying it's this was more hard or less hard or anything like that. I'm just trying to emphasize the fact that it's her third one and a little bit more traumatic than her two previous (her words). So, with her, I want to get her more than flowers! Not trying to knock anyone else's experiences or anything. I'm sorry for your loss!

I would get an angle wing necklace or something similar

@aboutellesbabes I'm just saying I would of liked flowers because I didn't even get a "Im sorry" from my family so flowers would of meant a lot to me but I understand wanting to get more then just flowers because I had two miscarriages myself, and the loss of another baby is even more painful but I would buy a neckless or something with 3 sets of angel wings because that's something I would of loved too just to honor their memory forever

@amberjacq, I just want to make sure I wasn't offending anyone or anything. I know it's a hard subject 😔 I feel terrible. It'll be so hard knowing that she would be holding a baby beside me while I held mine. It just breaks my heart and I can't even imagine how she feels! Or how you must have felt :( her other ones were so early they didn't name the babies or anything. But this one, being 16 weeks, they named him Levi. The doctor's let her hold him :( ughhh I'm so sorry that your family didn't do anything for you. That's awful. People are just thoughtless sometimes. Or they just don't understand. You would think mother's would understand but it's definitely hard

When I had mine, one of my coworkers gave me a gift certificate for a foot massage. Lol told me to de-stress and have some me time. Sorry for the loss💖

I had a loss at 26 weeks. I think a frame with a beautiful poem about hope and faith or baby to mommy poem would be a beautiful gesture. I personally loved that after my loss.

@aboutellesbabes I don't think you offended anyone and yes it hard for a lot of women and I know I feel awful everytime I think of other women going through what I went through because that type of pain is worse then torture and Im sure she doesn't feel any kinda resentment of you or anyone in your family she's probably just hurting and probably needs a friend to talk to, and yeah mine were early too I didn't name them until a year later but when I did chose names that worked for a boy or a girl and Levi is a beautiful name, and it's good they let her hold him because it was hard for me not getting to at least hold mine, and its okay my family are just very awful people. I wish everyone was more understanding, and more compassionate like you are being with your family member because this world would be a lot better place if more people were like that.

Yes ! Check out or look up on etsy and other sites about child loss. I'm sure that accompanied with some flowers would mean the world to them 💜

When we have a loss in our family we plant a rosebush or a tree. That way we can always look at it and remember their life 💗 maybe something like that would help them
