No..I've never had a period cramp feel anything close to that.
Contractions, to me, are unexplainable
Feels like something you've never felt before is the only way I ever describe it 😭

@torrey_ I had a really good recovery. Other moms might say it was terrible but I didn't think so. Yes there was pain but I stayed on top of my medicine and that really helped. Also walled a lot right away to help too.

@torrey_ Don't dread it you got this. I wished I could relate to the giving birth I really have no idea what it's like vaginally since I had a csection:(

@torrey_ dang that's good you made it so far. Back labor is definitely painful. I wanted to throw up from the pain
@nicholas051217, I had back labor and it felt like my back was breaking and on fire
But I didn't feel the back labor until I was at 9 or 10 cm
@ransoma, pushing was easy for me. It was like popping out a grapefruit 😂
I can say up to 5cm my contractions felt like my bad period cramps because I had back labor. Now after that I couldn't tell you because I had to have a c section. I definitely believe they are way worse at that point

Why do everybody say labor contractions feel like period cramps. ??? Yall must have got lucky af , cause period cramps my ass. I would love to have had period cramps when I was in labor. them contractions feel like somebody twisting the inside of my stomach that shit is almost unbareable. ! 😩👎
What does it meat to have period like cramps and diarrhea?
This may be stupid but....how long do contractions last for? I keep having period cramps and lower back pain but it lasts like 3 minutes each time.

So I never felt any contractions with kiddo. I have some cramping right now that feels like I'm about to get my period. Is that what contractions are? Should I start timing these with my app?
