Any moms give their 10 month olds Claritin per drs orders? My son was prescribed it back in march when he was 4 months and weighed 16lbs and the dosage was 1/2tsp. He's now 10 months and 21lbs but I don't know how much I'm supposed to give him?

Give him that dose and if you think he needs more in a few hours give him a little more starting with 1/4tsp. *i am not a doctor or a nurse but I do have 2 children that have taken medicine. Just a mom trying to help another mom. You do not have to do this, it is up to you but this is what I would if I didn't know how much to give.*
@kkmamax2, it only has the 1/2tsp dosage that was prescribed 6 months ago. I wasn't sure if he should be given more since he weighs a bit more now and his dr doesn't have an after hour number I could call and my son is miserable
It's usually the same amount as Advil
My sones been on it for a yr now & it's the same dosage as his Advil
